I have had this idea of a blog swimming in my head for a long time. Not sure whether to start writing or not. So I have decided to go for it. With a 4 year old and a 2 year old I am collecting some funny, scary, disturbing, and interesting stories at this point. And it is only beginning! This isn't a family blog of what we are up to...this is a real, tell it how it is blog. I hope you can laugh with me, cry with me and most importantly, realize you are not alone in this parenting thing. Moms judge...there I said it. We are hard on each other! I think it's important though that we see that every kid has their moments, phases, and stages. They are little people who are not perfect! But they are also the best little things ever! So enjoy!!
I named this blog Stepping Stones because a rock is actually what inspired this whole thing. Well and my kids of course! But how do I make a rock sound pleasant. "Stone" seems a little better! Back to the rock though, there are moments in parenting when you step back and feel on top because your kid did something awesome. Then there are times you just want to hide under a rock. So as I post different things they will be labeled either "On top of a rock" for our high moments and "hide under a rock" for our low moments. Feel free in the comment section to post your On Top stories and Hide Under stories!
